Fendi | Spring Summer 2021 | Full Show

Finally, a proper IRL runway show (although most of us are watching it at URL)! After months of digital experiments, Fendi, owned by LVMH, has now announced her return to the old school, but a satisfying catwalk has finally taken Milan Fashion Week along the way. In the brand's first co-ad show (and in the vast solitude of Sylvia Venturini Fendi before Kim Jones gets dressed up for women next season), a clever game of dominance and contradictions reigned supreme - fierce vs. soft, buttons Working with boys, boys, boys, women, and straight against the salute with sophisticated workmanship and unobtrusive construction.

Elsewhere, the humble game was played against Haute - best identified with cotton and bed linen, birds and feathers. The lightness of formal soft, soft, high and transparent fabrics matched the richness of the patterns found in different parts of Italy. In some respects, referring to completes and blankets, it was like a cotter made for the comfort of home - a wonderful steal for our new routine. On the accessories front, Venturini Fendi played the game of hiding and - revealing the contamination of houses in sheer organza and silk, such as hidden and baguette bags. At a time when human contact has become a rare commodity, the human handprint is stronger than ever. Proof of this is the basket, the netting, the quail and the weaving.

Prior to the show, the collection was reviewed over several generations of the Fendi family, and continuing the family theme, Venturini Fendi cast siblings as well as parents and children to attend the show. Expanding on last season's diverse cast, he also pulled out a multi-faceted and diverse crew of models, including Penelope Tree, Ashley Graham, Karen Elson, Yasmin Lee Bone, Eva Herzigova, and Paloma Ellisor.
